Just a short stroll across the road from The Hoste Arms

Set just off the Green of the renowned Burnham Market is this beautiful Grade 2 listed Cottage. A short stroll from the fabulous Hoste Arms (see review)

The interior has been completely transformed, whilst retaining all of the charm of this beautiful property all under the watchful eye of Jon Baxter owner of postcardholidays

Jon comments (Jon is a deaf person but in no way visually impaired he has run his own interior design company for 25 years):

There is a Loop hearing system fitted to the kitchen and lounge, simply turn on the system (black box next to the TV) set your hearing aid to the"T" setting, set the sound and tone on the black box to suit you.

Hi Jon
We had a wonderful week. Burnham Market is a lovely little place. The cottage was everything I imagined.
From the high standard of furnishings to the attention to detail in decoration it was home from home. Oh, and that bed (rather not go into details here).

We went for long walks at Holkham estate and beach. The beach is out of this world. The little villages surrounding Burnham are beautiful and very well kept. We've found little pubs where we had great food. For our wedding anniversary we went to the Orange Tree, the food was fantastic. All in all we had a relaxing week. We've come home feeling fully recharged. I am sure we will be back soon. I wish you and your family all the best.

We had the most wonderful stay in your delightful cottage. A squishy comfy bed, a cosy warm lounge, a fully equipped kitchen and decent wine glasses to boot – heaven. We would love to come back next year, and hope we didn’t leave anything in an unacceptable state –with a two year old you can never be too careful!

Hi Jon

I just wanted to say how much we enjoyed the weekend at Ivy . It was
lovely to stay in Burnham Market as in the past we have always stayed in
Brancaster.

The cottage was beautiful and the attention to detail and the
standard of restoration were plain to see.

It really was a relaxing break and I can't wait to visit again soon

Hey Papa Jon

We are back and its all over far too soon !

We have had a lovely time, although the weather (again) was not up to
much we all really enjoyed our little break in Norfolk.

The house is looking lovely and we had breakfast at Fishes (smoked
salmon and scrambled egg) lunch at Victoria (fish and chips) had walks
on beach and visited Holt (really nice art gallery, bistro, antique
shops etc).

The kids have had a great time and been non stop -

We are on fine form after our lovely holiday in your beautiful IVY Cottage.........It was fab and what a lovely place you have its gorgeous, it really is. The lady who was staying next door asked us if we owned it...Oh I wish!!!

The weather was very kind to us and so we were able to make use of the beautiful garden too...

What a fabulous job you have both done there too...wow !!!
